Why is the Cairo Citadel important?

The Citadel was built by Salah al-Din (Saladin) between in 1176 on the highest point of Cairo to protect Cairo from potential Crusader attacks and to provide a secure center of government for his new regime.

What to wear during visiting the mosque?

Mosques are sacred places and not allowed to visit it with short skirts over knee or uncovered shoulders, so it is highly recommended to wear decent cloth specially for ladies.
