In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Cairo by your private tour guide in an air-conditioned vehicle to begin your Egyptian Museum, Cairo Citadel and Old Cairo Tour. Egyptian Museum
Your tour begins with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, home to over 100,000 artifacts, including intricately carved statues, jewelry, papyri, and a rare collection spanning more than 5,000 years of art. This includes the collection from the tomb of the royal couple Yuya and Tuya,the grandparents of King Tutankhamun, statues of Akhenaten, monumental sculptures, artifacts from the Predynastic Period through the Greco-Roman era, and the treasures of Tanis.
Cairo Citadel
Next, you will head to the the Citadel of Saladin, also known as Cairo Citadel, which dates back more than 850 years. It was built by Sultan Salah al-Din (Saladin) on the Moqattam hills.
Inside the citadel, you will visit the Mosque of Muhammad Ali Alabaster, one of its most iconic architectural landmarks. It features a grand Ottoman design with a massive dome and is inspired by the Blue Mosque in Istanbul.
The visit also includes the Military Museum and the Mamluk Prison, where you will learn about the citadel’s rich history and its role throughout different eras.

After that, you will continue to Coptic Cairo (Old Cairo), where you will visit some of the city’s most important religious and historical landmarks, including the Hanging Church (Church of the Virgin Mary). You will also visit the Ben Ezra Synagogue, the Church of Saint Barbara, and the Church of Abu Serga, one of the most significant sites visited by the Holy Family during their journey in Egypt, where a strong spiritual and historical atmosphere is still felt today.
At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back comfortably to your hotel.
