7 Days Egypt itinerary to Cairo and the desert

Day 1 Arrival to Cairo

Our representative will be waiting for you at Cairo International Airport, then transfer to your hotel by private air-conditioned vehicle, in case your international flight will be landed early there is an option to do city tour in Cairo by night during it you can see the highlights of Cairo as you can have a panoramic view for all of the capital from Elmokatam cliff which is the highest point in Cairo and you can do felucca Nile ride by the sunset time then overnight in the

Day 2 Giza pyramids and Egyptian museum visit

Cairo Day Tour (Giza Pyramids – Egyptian Museum ) start your Cairo Day Tour by visiting Pyramids of Giza, where you can see the Great Pyramid of the king Cheops 360 belong to the fourth dynasty, visit Chephren & Mycerinus pyramids, then drive to the panoramic area, take memorable photos of the three Pyramids together, continue visiting the Sphinx and the Valley Temple, then having lunch in very special restaurant called valley of kings to try the delicious Egyptian food then one stop as a break in a papyrus institute to know how the oldest type of paper was created by pharaohs and later going to the Egyptian Museum where you can see Tutankhamen treasures, then overnight in your hotel in Cairo

Day 3 Moving from Cairo to the white desert

Around 07:00 am you will be picked up time from your hotel to Bahariya Oasis , which is almost 350 km east of Cairo as it takes about 4 hours driving , so arrival will be about at 11:00am

Upon arrival you will take your 4×4 Jeep and start driving to the black desert

Then Lunch will be served at the oasis around midday

after lunch start driving to the valley of Agabat

The valley of Agabat is a deep point within the white desert where you will feel like you went to the space as it has amazing natural landscape similar to Mars then moving to the white desert 360 to watch the sunset from there where the sky turns pink then the deepest fiery orange, at the white desert you can see the rock-shapes fade, Sitting around a small fire and enjoying your dinner and watching the stars you will feel like nothing has ever tasted so good .then overnight there ( camping )

Day 4 Moving from white desert to Baharia oasis

Next morning waking up early to catch the great sunrise view from the desert then having breakfast before driving to Bahariya Oasis
On the way back, you will visit Crystal Mountain , It’s more of a crystal hill, which is often called the Jewel of the desert is formed by the quartzite crystals and looks amazing in the sun’s rays. then upon arrival to Baharia oasis will be one stop in a spring for swimming and relaxing then start driving to Fayoum oasis as it takes about 4 hours driving to arrive to your camp in Fayoum where you will spend your night there ( dinner will be served upon arrival )

Day 5 visiting valley of the whales and the magic lake

After having breakfast your adventure will be started by Toyota land cruiser 4×4 to Wadi Al Hitan ( Valley of the whales )

which is a Protected area and a Natural Heritage Site since 2005 , WADI EL-HITAN 360 is also known for scientists in the Zeuglodon Valley, have been discovered in 1936, it is located 35 KM west of the Wadi El-Ryan, right deep into the desert western desert, is It is an area of fossils; considered as an open museum, dates back to 45 million years,
after discovering this great area will drive to see the only natural waterfalls in Egypt then the
The Magic lake which is one of the most beautiful lakes in Egypt, overlooking sand dunes and contains minerals that are said to help treat patients with rheumatism.

then there will be a break for having lunch and start driving back to Cairo as it takes about 2 hours driving from there to Cairo and overnight in your hotel in Cairo

Day 6 Old Cairo visit

The pickup time from your hotel at 08:00 am with your Egyptologist tour guide, as you will enjoy a fantastic orientation tour in Cairo to see the main sites of Old Cairo and o Khan El Khalili Bazaar which is the oldest market in all of Africa works for more than 700 years every day. you will start your day tour by visiting the Citadel of Saladin 360 , that was built by Salah al-Din on the Moqattam cliff during the medieval as a defense against Crusaders armies. and inside the fortress of Saladino you can see many historical sites like the military museum, the police museum, the prison, and different mosques including the Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha which is known as the alabaster mosque.

Lunch will be served in one of the special restaurants by the Nile River.
Then, visiting Old Cairo to see main Christian and Jewish attractions such as the Hanging Church, the Ben Ezra Synagogue, and the Church of Abu Sarga, which dates back to more than 1300 years ago.
Later on, going to visit Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, oldest bazaars in all of Africa with more than 1000 shops where you can get more experience about the oriental atmosphere and seeing Elmoeaz street the remaining part of old capital that was built by Arabs then back to the hotel for overnight.

Day 7 Departure day

If you flight is light we can arrange optional trip for you in the morning if not You will be transferred to Cairo airport for the international departure.
