Karnak Temple

It also contains the obelisks of famous kings and queens such as Hatshepsut and Thutmose I, in addition to the Sacred Lake, which was used for religious rituals and purification ceremonies.
Luxor Temple
Your final stop is Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III and completed during the reign of Ramses II. The temple was dedicated to the god Amun and his consort Mut and served as an important center for religious celebrations in ancient Thebes.
The temple remains remarkably well preserved to this day and is connected to Karnak Temple by the famous Avenue of Sphinxes.
