Day one: Drive from Cairo to Mount Sinai & Climb
Your tour guide from Axa Tours will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo in the afternoon to begin your 2 days tour to Mount Sinai and St Catherine’s Monastery from Cairo.
Mount Sinai
You will begin your journey to Mount Sinai, one of the world’s holiest mountains, visited by pilgrims and worshippers for centuries.
Upon arrival, you can relax at a Bedouin cafe before starting the climb with a local Bedouin guide who will share stories about the region’s history and spiritual significance.
The climb to the summit takes around 2.5 to 3 hours on foot, with camels available for part of the trail. Along the way, you will enjoy panoramic views of the Sinai Mountains and their unique rock formations.
Once you reach the summit, you will have time to relax & wait for the breathtaking sunrise. You will also have the chance to capture stunning photos. After that, you will descend in the morning to enjoy breakfast.
Day Two: Explore St Catherine’s Monastery & Return back
