*Our tour representative firstly will pick you up from your hotel in Aswan in the morning and transfer you to the airport to catch your flight to Abu Simbel.

* Upon arrival,you’ll find yourself facing one of Egypt’s most famous archaeological sites where you will see two massive temples of Abu Simbel ,the Great Temple of Ramses II and the smaller Temple that was dedicated to his wife, Nefertariwill , Both of them were discovered in 1813 as it was almost completely covered with sand.

The Great Temple of Ramses II

* You will start by visiting the Great temple of Ramses II which is an architectural masterpiece constructed to honor Pharaoh Ramses II and celebrate his military victories. The temple is guarded by four colossal statues of Ramses, each standing over 20 meters

* Then you will visit Nefertari Temple which was built by Ramses II to his favorite wife Queen Nefertari has very special design also you can visit it, and know more about Ramses II social life as he had almost 50 wives and 111 sons and daughters’

*Both of the temples were moved in 1960 by the help of the Egyptian government and UNESCO to avoid the rising water of the Nile. Ramses II built the temple 360 mostly to honor himself as he depicted his famous victory at Kadesh battle on the walls of the temple.

*After finishing the visit you will be escorted back to the airport to take your flight back to Aswan.
